Cookie and Local Storage Policy
Effective date: 26 July 2026 · Version 1.0
This page explains what viberoapp.com stores in your browser. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version
We use no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics on this website. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share browsing data with advertisers. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is required for the technologies listed below — they are strictly necessary for a function you have requested.
2. What we actually store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
vibero.rsvp.<event> |
Local storage | Holds the single-use secret that proves a specific attendance (RSVP) answer is yours, so you can change or cancel it later. Without it your answer could only be corrected by the organiser. It contains no name, email or identifier — only a random secret. | Until you clear browser data |
That is the complete list. The site sets no cookies of its own.
3. Removing it
You can clear this at any time through your browser's "clear site data" or "clear browsing data" settings. Removing it does not delete your attendance answer — it only means you can no longer change that answer yourself and would need to ask the organiser.
If your browser blocks storage (for example in private browsing), the site still works; the self-service edit option is simply not offered.
4. Third-party requests
Pages on this site talk to our own backend (Supabase, hosted in the European Union) to load invitation and attendance information. No third-party advertising, social or analytics scripts are loaded, and the site's Content Security Policy blocks them.
5. Inside the mobile app
The mobile app does not use cookies. Optional analytics and crash reporting inside the app are off by default and require your explicit consent — see section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce a technology that requires consent, we will update this page and ask for your consent before using it.
